White will once again be the predominant colour at the Fiesta de la Luna Llena (Full Moon Party), which this year will take place on Thursday 14 July on the seafront promenade in Sabinillas.
This party, unique in the province of Málaga for tourism, will once again draw thousands of people to our town to enjoy the great atmosphere of this magical event. To this end, the Tourism department, headed by Eva Galindo, has prepared an extensive programme, with Kiko Rivera as the main attraction on the poster.
The children’s activities and the street parade will begin at 21:00, and at 21:30 a batucada (drumming band) will open the market. At 21:45, attendees will be able to enjoy the first acrobatics show, while at 22:00 the band Crazy Island will take to the stage.
Just before 23:00, there will be a chance to see the second acrobatics show, followed by a performance by the band “De Tú a Tú”, who will play music from the 80s and 90s.
Around midnight there will be the countdown, followed by a greeting from members of the governing team.
Among many other surprises, at 00:30 the well-known DJ Kiko Rivera will play, and the night will close with a performance by «Aurelio Vargas Percusión y Misys Bea».
The Tourism department team, under the direction of Eva Galindo, wished to remind everyone that the release of balloons is prohibited, and has asked for responsible behaviour so that this important event can be enjoyed while respecting the environment.
For his part, the mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, has invited all residents and visitors to come dressed in white and take part in this important and attractive event, saying that everything is ready for everyone to enjoy.
