The Government Team of Manilva Town Hall met this afternoon to assess the municipality’s situation with regard to the pandemic.

Within the scope of municipal powers, it has been decided to suspend the street markets in Manilva and Sabinillas on Mondays and Fridays.

In addition, municipal sports activities are also halted.

Furthermore, disinfection measures are being stepped up. A request has been made to the Provincial Fire Brigade Consortium to help with this work.

The Town Hall will immediately ask the Education delegation of the Junta de Andalucía once again for an assessment of the situation in the schools of the municipality so that it can act accordingly.

On security, there will be reinforcement of the Local Police to monitor and enforce the rules.

All the measures taken by Manilva Town Hall will remain in place until 8 February and will come into force next Monday, 25 January.
