The Infrastructure and Works and Housing Estates departments, whose responsible councillors are Diego José Jiménez and Laura López, have coordinated the work to restore an important service which, although it is not a municipal responsibility, is very necessary for public safety.
This concerns the lighting of the La Paloma and Aldea Beach roundabouts. These two points, key to the stretch of the N-340, like many others, had stopped being lit by the roads authority (Carreteras). At present, and pending the replacement of faulty light fittings by that body in the coming days, the Town Hall has taken charge of their lighting.
It should be remembered that the same was already done with the roundabout next to the Noria area, so with these two a route is now completed that was at times dangerous and used by many residents.
