The Las Viñas sports hall hosts the Villa de Manilva Spring Rhythmic Gymnastics Festival this Saturday, 23 April. After several years without being able to hold this traditional sporting event, the department led by Manolo Gil is bringing it back.
This is the twelfth edition of our festival, which will see a large turnout of Andalusian schools and clubs.
As well as the Escuela Municipal de Manilva, led by Fina González, clubs from Algeciras, Agra, Ceuta, Coín, Conil, Estepona, Fundación Victoria La Presentación, La Línea, Nácar, San Pedro, San Roque, Sirka Ritmo and Tesorillo will also be visiting.
The warm-up will begin at 9:30 and the competition will get under way at 11:00, with the participation of the Promesa Ensembles in the pre-benjamín, benjamín, alevín, infantil and cadete categories. At around 12:45 the awards will be presented to the best ensembles.
Then, at 13:00, the competition will resume in the Individual Precopa category, in the categories ranging from alevín to senior and on different apparatus.
According to the organisers, the medal presentation and closing ceremony will take place at 15:00.
