The Camino del Mar, the road linking the Peñoncillo area with the Manilva-Sabinillas road, is receiving its final touches, in a project that the Infrastructure and Works department split into two phases: one carried out by municipal workers and another that required more specialised machinery for the final asphalting.
The councillor responsible for the area, Diego José Jiménez, the area director, Mari Ángeles Ramos, and a municipal technician have supervised the work, which will be completed today.
It is worth remembering that this road is heavily used both by residents and by guests of one of the municipality’s most important hotel complexes, Manilva Green, so these improvements benefit many users.
