The Education councillor at Manilva Town Hall, Daniel Muñoz, has visited the facilities of the «Las Viñas» secondary school in the town to see the progress of the work being carried out by the Junta de Andalucía at the school.
As the councillor had previously announced, the work involves enclosing four new classrooms, located in the former entrance porch of the building.
Work is also under way to refurbish areas that were in poor condition, such as pergolas and friezes, among other elements.
The total investment amounts to 443,291.99 €, according to the councillor.
This work, as well as that carried out at Colegio Pablo Picasso de Manilva, which the councillor also visited a few days ago, is the result of good relations with the supra-municipal authorities, as is the construction of a new secondary school in the town, already approved by the regional government.
