Manilva Town Hall is suspending the municipal transport service that runs through the municipality from tomorrow, Monday, after one of the drivers tested positive for covid.
The protocol was activated immediately. The municipal employee is in quarantine and those who have travelled on specific services have already been informed.
A municipal contact telephone number (664084458) has been set up to inform everyone who has used the transport service in recent days.
The rest of the municipal drivers will be tested in order to decide, if all is in order, when the service can resume.
It should be remembered that the municipal fleet is cleaned and disinfected daily, so it should be borne in mind that possible infections occur through direct contact with a positive case for more than 15 minutes at close range without a mask.
The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, and the Vehicle Fleet councillor, Alba Jiménez, will give detailed information on the results of the tests on the municipal workers and on the situation of the transport service over the coming days.
