According to information obtained by this newsroom, an urban vehicle used for passenger transport in the municipality is reportedly running with an expired ITV sticker for four months, according to photos sent to us this morning by a user of this route.

During the state of emergency, an extension of up to 3 months was granted because of the delays caused by the closure of ITV (vehicle roadworthiness test) stations, but this measure was suspended by Ministerial Order SND/413/2020 and there is currently no extension of any kind. Even with perimeter closures in place in both municipalities, travelling to take a vehicle for its ITV is completely permitted and justified.

On 27 January we learned of the council’s plans to replace these vehicles. One of the items approved at the latest Manilva Town Hall council meeting was the leasing of two buses, to avoid the maintenance costs currently being incurred because of their age.
