The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, the Social Welfare councillor, Laura Salazar, and representatives of the parishes of Manilva, Sabinillas and El Castillo are recalling the tribute to parish priest Fr José Antonio Melgar Muriana, following the Diocese of Málaga’s announcement that he is to be replaced after twelve years of service.
In recognition of his extraordinary career, a charity tribute dinner will be held on 11 September at the Plaza de la Vendimia in Manilva.
