To mark the 30th anniversary of the Club Lambretta de España, and throughout the summer months, the convoy is travelling through all of Spain’s regions and territories, except the Canary Islands, to complete a route of around 5,400 kilometres.
The aim is to celebrate the anniversary and defend the right to exist of this piece of historic industrial heritage: classic scooters.
Tourism councillor Eva Galindo welcomed them yesterday in Sabinillas, where they made their stop and toured part of the municipality.
It is worth noting that a group of local motorcyclists rode the Sabinillas-Benalmadena stage, setting off from the Plaza del Cali to the Tivoli World amusement park.
According to the councillor: «it is an original way for our municipality to get publicity, so we are delighted that they have chosen Manilva as part of their itinerary», she said.
