Pupils at nursery schools, infant and primary schools, and Instituto Las Viñas return to the classroom this coming Monday, after the Christmas holidays.

The councillor for Education, Daniel Muñoz, reports that the current protocol on Covid safety measures will remain in place. In addition, following meetings between the regional education departments of the Autonomous Communities and the Ministry of Education, it was decided to keep classes in person during this second term, as classrooms are considered safe spaces, according to the data.

The Town Hall stresses the importance of everyone strictly complying with the protocol measures both inside and outside the classroom.

It should be noted that the entry and exit times at nursery schools, primary schools and the secondary school will be the usual ones.

Once the second term has begun, the next holiday period will run from 28 February to 6 March, with the Semana Blanca (winter break).
