The provincial committees will meet every Monday and Thursday to assess the situation in the municipalities. Among those with an active incidence above 500 cases, they will decide which are to be perimeter-closed, and in which municipalities all non-essential activity is to be closed, namely those exceeding an active incidence of 1,000 (cases per 100,000 inhabitants).
The measures will come into force at 00:00 every Wednesday and at 00:00 every Saturday.
If a municipality drops below 1,000 or 500 cases, the measures may be relaxed, provided that 14 days have passed since they were applied.
If a municipality goes from over 500 to over 1,000 cases, it may move from level 1 to level 2, even if 14 days have not passed. In these cases, the 14-day period will start again from the day level 2 came into force.
