Manilva Town Hall has joined in a show of solidarity with the Ukrainian people held at the doors of municipal buildings such as the town hall itself, the Tenencia de Alcaldía or the Usos Múltiples building, among others.
The event, attended by the municipal corporation, Town Hall employees and residents in general, consisted of a five-minute silent gathering.
It is an initiative of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, which our town took part in, as the mayor, Mario Jiménez, explained.
In addition to the collection of basic necessities being carried out by various groups in Manilva, this was another way of showing our affection and support for all the people who are suffering the dramatic consequences of this war started by Putin’s government against Ukraine.
