According to the councillor for Infrastructure and Works, Diego José Jiménez, work has already begun on the restoration of the entrance to the parish cemetery.

Although the Town Hall is funding it, the project has the approval and full consent of the Bishopric and of the parish itself.

This allocation completes the work on the church, Iglesia and Muro Aguilar streets, and the surrounding area, which has brought the site up to date in terms of infrastructure and greatly improved its appearance.

The councillor stated: «Although it is not the Town Hall’s responsibility, we consider the cemetery to be an important part of this block, and we wanted to take a direct part in improving it,» he noted.
