The event will have two routes of 12 and 21 kilometres and a maximum of 400 participants. Registration will be available on DorsalChip until 6 January or until all places have been filled.
Fans of trail running and outdoor sport can now sign up for the 8th Manilva Trail, one of the municipality’s sporting events, which will once again bring runners together on Saturday 16 January 2027.
Sports councillor Rogelio Pascual, together with Fernando Serrano, president and board member of the Club Deportivo Senderista Manilva «Los Kruos», has announced the opening of the registration period for this new edition, which will be limited to 400 participants.
Two routes for different levels
The 8th Manilva Trail will offer two options so that participants can choose the route that best suits their abilities:
- Long race: approximately 21 kilometres, with an elevation gain of around 800 metres.
- Short race: approximately 12 kilometres, with an elevation gain of around 600 metres.
Both routes will run through the municipality of Manilva and will share much of their initial and final stretches.
The organisers have set a maximum of 200 runners for each race. The start and finish will be located in plaza Martín Carpena, next to the Las Viñas sports hall, and both races will start at 10:20.
Prices and registration
Those interested can register through the website dorsalchip.es. The registration period will remain open until 6 January 2027 at 23:59, provided that the available bibs have not run out beforehand.
The prices set out in the regulations are as follows:
- Short race, 12 kilometres: 17 euros.
- Long race, 21 kilometres: 22 euros.
Registration includes timing, refreshment points, accident and civil liability insurance, medical assistance and first aid, runner’s bag, trophies for the top finishers, showers and a cloakroom service.
Bib collection and requirements
Bibs can be collected on Friday 15 January, from 18:00 to 20:00, at the Multi-Purpose Hall (pabellón de Usos Múltiples), or on the day of the race in the start area, from 8:00 until 30 minutes before the start.
It will be necessary to show your DNI (national identity card) to collect your bib. Participants aged 16 and 17 must attend accompanied by a parent or guardian and hand in the corresponding authorisation.
The regulations set a maximum time of four hours to complete the races, with the finish line due to close at 14:20. They also provide for time checkpoints along the routes to ensure participants’ safety.
The organisers remind participants that it will be compulsory to carry a water reserve of at least half a litre, a reusable container for the refreshment points, a cap, visor or bandana, a charged mobile phone and a thermal blanket.
