Excellent activity by CEIP San Luis de Sabinillas, in which pupils from different classes at the school prepare and broadcast a monthly entertainment programme. Judging by the results we are seeing, the future of radio is more than guaranteed.
This January it was the turn of the boys and girls of class 6ºA, who reviewed a range of current news stories, curiosities, interviews and humour. The programme also included a brief analysis by Hugo and Ada, young reporters and pupils at the school, of the progress of the works under way during this school year. In their words, the works are «clearly delayed; the completion deadline was estimated for the end of August, something that we can see has not been met, as we are in January and it is still a complete mess.»
According to these pupils on their radio programme, «we tried to interview the site manager Alberto Alcántara so that he could tell us everything, but he spent 15 days avoiding us and it was not possible.»
This newsroom encourages the site manager, Mr Alberto Alcántara, to grant that interview to the youngsters for the next programme in February, so that we can learn first-hand the state of the works thanks to these future journalists, who are earning themselves a place in our newsroom.
