The Government Team, for the third year running, and taking into account the restrictions faced by local traders and business owners, will once again take to the council meeting the elimination of public highway occupation fees, worth 60,000 euros.
The municipal officials, fully aware of the reality facing these establishments, will scrap this fee which, together with the 400,000 euros of the Contingency Plan and support for entrepreneurs approved in last year’s budget, has brought relief to residents’ pockets and a boost to their projects.
It should also be remembered that the Support Plan for the self-employed and micro-SMEs, with a budget allocation of 200,000 €, ends at 00:00 today, Monday.
In the budget for 2022, alternatives will also be sought so that our town’s business community continues to gain momentum and so that the economic crisis caused by coronavirus becomes a thing of the past as soon as possible.
