The governing board of the Cofradía de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores y Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno de Manilva has announced that the 2022 Holy Week proclamation (pregón) will be delivered by Patricia Castillo Domínguez.
Patricia is proud to be the daughter of José Castillo, who for many years was head of this brotherhood. She has been a member of the brotherhood’s governing board since 2008.
The proclamation will take place on 8 April, Viernes de Dolores (Friday of Sorrows), at the Parroquia de Santa Ana en Manilva.
Meanwhile, the Hermandad del Cristo del Amor y Nuestra Señora de los Dolores de Sabinillas announced that this year’s Holy Week proclamation will be given by Sabinillas resident Carmeli Castillo Sánchez, who held the post of head of the brotherhood between 2010 and 2012.
The proclamation will take place on 9 April at 19:30 at the church of San Luis de Sabinillas.
