Work began yesterday morning to finish the mural at the entrance to the infant school building of the colegio de San Luis de Sabinillas.
This third piece will complete the planned design.
«Leer y Soñar» («Read and Dream») is the title of this mural by the ceramics workshop run by the artist Concepción Ferrer, part of the Local Development department, headed by Marcos Ruiz, who visited the site to inspect the work.
Earlier phases were installed previously using the cuerda seca technique, one part dedicated to encouraging reading among the youngest children, highlighting the many benefits of making this activity a regular habit. Alongside it, in an annex, appears the name of the San Luis school, with the image showing children from different countries, highlighting the multiculturalism of the municipality, where 93 different nationalities live side by side.
The opportunity is also being taken to carry out some improvements, such as the installation of an entry phone and the replacement of the gutter.
