The International Tourism Fair, FITUR, opens today, Wednesday, in an edition that will run until 23 January. Manilva is attending the event to showcase everything that a tourist municipality like ours has to offer.
The Madrid International Tourism Fair is considered one of the most important in the world in this sector, attracting tourism professionals from across the globe, and is a leader for the inbound and outbound markets of Latin America.
Once again, the Tourism department, headed by Eva Galindo, will present all the attractions of Manilva at this showcase. Its people, its gastronomy, its wine, natural areas such as the Reserva Ecológica, its vast beaches, archaeological sites, and its sports and festive tourism are a great draw for both domestic and international tourists.
The councillor highlighted, within this year’s programme, the presentations of the Manilva promotional video, the Tourism website and an event that has been gaining a great deal of prominence in recent years, Manilva Pride.
Both for the councillor responsible for this department and for the mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, this is an essential event because of its impact and because our municipality has a great deal of potential to offer all the visitors and tour operators who will attend FITUR this year.
