Manilva has joined forces with the Junta de Andalucía at the B-Travel tourism fair with a 150-square-metre stand, where it has attended to the agencies and intermediaries present and to this market’s potential customers.

This show is considered one of the country’s main tourism events and the most important of those held in Catalonia, with more than 35,000 visitors at its last edition. This year, more than a hundred companies and destinations have come together over 6,500 square metres of exhibition space.

A programme of professional activities has been designed to encourage business contacts. Among other activities, a forum organised by the Asociación Corporativa de Agencias de Viaje Especializadas (ACAVe) was held, in which the destinations presented their offer to around a hundred agents, which has put Manilva at the forefront.

Also among the fair’s parallel events was B-Delicious, B-Travel’s food and wine area, which, in an open-air marquee, offered visitors tastings at around fifteen stands for a high-quality gastronomic tour.

Andalusian hotels received nearly 400,000 travellers from Catalonia during 2021, while their overnight stays exceeded one million, making the region the top destination outside their own autonomous community.
As for Manilva, according to Eva Galindo, Tourism councillor, «we have attended directly to visitors and explained the tourist resources of our town to them.»

The public highlighted our beaches, the exceptional location and the food.
As proof of this, many of those interested confirmed that they already had bookings in hotels and apartments, with an average stay of about ten days.
