Manilva Town Hall has begun the relevant process to replace the artificial turf at the «Las Viñas» municipal football pitch.
According to Sports councillor Manolo Gil: «This work was necessary on the football pitch because hundreds of young people play sport there and there was even a risk of injury, so quality and safety will improve,» he said.
The technical specifications are now being drawn up for the replacement of both the artificial turf surface and the irrigation system, by means of an operating lease (renting).
The successful bidder is responsible for maintaining the artificial turf throughout the contract period, which will be 4 years, and must carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance of the artificial turf.
A period of eight weeks has been set for the supply and installation, counted from the signing of the contract.
