To mark the festival of the Virgen del Carmen, on Friday 15 July the local petanque club Casama is launching a tournament to be held at the Ciudad de la Petanca in Sabinillas, located in the Maicandil area.
This is the third edition, in which the Sports department of Manilva Town Hall, headed by Manolo Gil, is once again collaborating.
The event is open only to club members. According to the organisers, led by president José Pajares, the tournament will be played in women’s and men’s categories. Both will start at 09:30.
After the tournament, an Argentinian barbecue (asado) will be served, accompanied by sangria.
