The first Empre-Viñas Entrepreneurship Fair will take place on 11 May, organised by the local secondary school together with the Education department.
Plaza El Cali in Sabinillas will host the event, which starts at 09:00 and will feature a variety of businesses, with ideas ranging from a hotel for dogs and an app for temporary teachers to games and sports companies.
A quarter of an hour later the fair will open with the opening of the stand, followed by the start of the presentations, as well as a number of surprises. The prize-giving will take place at 13:00 and the fair will close at 14:00.
The Innicia Cultura Emprendedora programme, which this activity is part of, aims to promote entrepreneurship in its three dimensions (personal, social and productive) in schools, encouraging creative thinking and knowledge and entrepreneurial initiatives throughout the educational community.
This first entrepreneurship fair is a space for visitors to learn about both the setting and the culture of the future business projects that students hope to launch.
In total, 12 stands will be set up by student companies from year 2 of ESO (compulsory secondary education) and from sixth form, whose main aim is to foster an entrepreneurial culture in our town. There will also be a display on the history of Manilva by year 3 ESO students, which will showcase the culture and historical heritage of the municipality.
As part of this programme at IES Las Viñas, and in close collaboration with the Education department of Manilva Town Hall, headed by councillor Daniel Muñoz, this space will allow visitors to learn about both the setting and the culture of the future business projects that students hope to launch.
