The La Concepción reservoir, which supplies water to our town, was forced on Friday to carry out the opening of its floodgates to release, as a precaution, part of the water it holds because of the heavy rain, with the reservoir having reached 86% of its capacity. Today it has held 53.30 hm3 of its total capacity of 62 hm3.

Yesterday’s heavy rain put Manilva among the municipalities with the highest rainfall on the peninsula, with 69.61 l/m2 recorded over the course of the day.
Despite this amount of water, no significant incidents have been reported in the municipality.
