Schools in the municipality have received the 62 air purifiers from the Education department of Manilva Town Hall.

Following meetings between councillor Daniel Muñoz and the various schools in the area, they requested the devices for the municipal nurseries as well as for infant classes and up to the first year of primary school. The aim is to protect children under the age of six, as they are exempt from wearing face masks.

During the day, both Muñoz and the mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, visited each of the educational facilities to hand over the filters in person and so fulfil the commitment made previously.

From now on, our youngsters will have greater safety in their classrooms thanks to the installation of these filters, which ensure an environment free of impurities.

In total, 14 devices have been delivered to each of the schools, Pablo Picaso, San Luis and Maicandil, also covering the three municipal nurseries.

It is worth noting that these purifying filters, from the Spanish brand Cecotec, are very easy to use.

The head teachers of the schools expressed their thanks to the municipal officials for looking after the health of the youngest students.
