The Infrastructure and Works Councillor at Manilva Town Hall and First Deputy Mayor for the PSOE at Manilva Town Hall, Diego José Jimenez, accuses his governing partner, though respectfully, of a «lack of loyalty» in a statement issued after the distribution across the municipality of a full-colour magazine by its governing partner Compromiso Manilva, in which it claims credit for 80% of the works, which according to Diego José were carried out by his team.
While the traders on the Sabinillas promenade grow impatient waiting for a statement or meeting to clarify the reasons for the continuation of the works, after repeated promises that they would stop during the summer season so that businesses could operate normally, and while residents of Avenida Miraflores are still waiting for the road to be resurfaced and the works to be completed, these are the explanations and concerns that they choose to communicate to residents, which only convey unease and a lack of confidence in the governing pact, which evidently is not going through its best moments.
