The Environment councillor, Laura López, visited the area where the Arroyo del Indiano is located in the town, to check on the clearing work being carried out along its banks.
The work aims to improve the sanitary condition of the area and prevent the build-up of reeds when, for example, there is bad weather.
As the councillor pointed out, it is important to stress that these improvements are not being carried out in the stream itself, since protected animal and plant species are found there.
The aim, in short, is to improve the quality of the various spaces that form part of our municipality.
The Environment department is working hard with the firm aim of reaching every corner of our town.
