This Saturday 14 June, Estepona Marina will be full of solidarity and a great atmosphere for a very special event: “Remando con Fouad, ¡Únete al equipo!” (Rowing with Fouad: Join the team!). The day has been organised by the colleagues of Fouad J., who works at the marina and is going through a difficult time after an accident on 13 April, when he accidentally fell from a fibre-cement roof onto a terrace on calle Vela in Manilva. The whole team wants to support and help him.
This event comes from the affection and unity of those who work at the marina, who did not hesitate for a second to launch this initiative to support Fouad and his family.
The day will take place on the esplanade next to the Control Tower from 12:00, with a bar serving food and drink, paella, raffles, a charity market, dance performances and activities for children, all designed so that families can enjoy themselves and support a good cause.
In addition, many businesses and anonymous individuals have gone out of their way to make the day a success. From donations to the organisation of activities, the response has been very generous.
“Fouad is a fundamental part of this marina and the team wanted to be by his side, just as he has always been there for all of us”, said Manuel Raigón, managing director of Estepona Marina.
Estepona Marina is encouraging residents, visitors and friends to take part in this charity day and do their bit.
