The councillor for Infrastructure and Works, Diego José Jiménez, councillor Alba Jiménez, area director Mari Ángeles Ramos and a municipal technician have visited the work under way in the three main squares of Puerto de la Duquesa.

With this comprehensive refurbishment of the Upper and Lower squares and the one on calle Los Arcos, in addition to a cosmetic renovation, the damp problems affecting the premises will be eliminated. The work also includes the demolition of the planters and the existing paving, with a redesign of the layout of the squares, waterproofing of the entire surface and the laying of ferrogres-type flooring.

According to the councillor: «the main objective, in addition to renewing the infrastructure, is to improve these three commercial areas, thereby boosting the services offered by local businesses,» he said.
