We continue moving further into the high season, and with it the programme of events, festivals and activities across the municipality.
From today, Thursday 11, until the 16th of this month, the Mercado de la Luna (Moon Market) will be set up in the area around the plaza de los Maestros.
SATURDAY 13 JULY
MOON FESTIVAL
From 20:45, the rhythm of a batucada (drumming band) will lead you from the market dedicated to this festival to the plaza de El Cali, where at 21:00 there will be a toast and a tasting of Manilva wine.
The aerial show will take your breath away! Enjoy the first performance at 21:45 in the plaza de El Cali, and get ready for another at 23:00, just after the live music that will fill the 4 small stages from 22:00 to 23:00.
The party continues with the group Kassia. At 23:30, enjoy the first set of their 80s concert on the main stage. At midnight, the governing team will greet the crowd and kick off a ball launch with a countdown.
The night gets even livelier! Kassia returns to the stage for their second set, followed by DJ performances that will keep you dancing until 4 in the morning.

Virgen del Carmen Patron Saint Festivities in El Castillo de la Duquesa
Organised by the Hermandad de la Virgen del Carmen in collaboration with the Fiestas department, the programme is as follows:
11:00: Traditional games in the plaza Miramar.
13:00: Moraga (a traditional beach barbecue of grilled fish and skewers) in the parque del Huerto. Organised by the “Hermandad de la Virgen del Carmen”.
18:00: Dance performance by the group “Compás Flamenco”, in the parque del Huerto.
19:00: Coronation of the Queens and Ladies, organised by the “Hermandad de la Virgen del Carmen”, in the parque del Huerto.

From 19:00 we will be able to watch the Euro final between Spain and England on calle Mar de Manilva, where a giant screen will be installed so that people can enjoy the match, with a Fan Zone, human table football, a children’s area, face painting, bouncy castles and a DJ.
