In addition to its usual service across the municipality, the Local Police will assign two officers to cover the Manilva coastline.
This has been coordinated by the mayor of Manilva and head of Public Safety, Mario Jiménez, with the Chief of the Local Police, Juan Montero.
It should be remembered that this service was launched for the first time last year and was a complete success, as numerous interventions were carried out, although none of them serious.
According to the mayor: «the main aim of this service is to help the public and look after their interests on beaches and access areas where hundreds of people gather».
The officers will travel both in the buggy, equipped to get around hard-to-reach places, and on motorbikes, in order to provide this service as efficiently and quickly as possible.
The beach service will be operational in June, July and August from 12:00 to 20:00, coinciding with the Lifeguard Plan.
