Calle Mar in Manilva will once again become one of the municipality’s main meeting points this weekend with a new edition of the Noche de Embrujo, taking place on 28, 29 and 30 August with a programme combining music, flamenco, gastronomy, crafts and a carefully curated atmosphere.

Tourism councillor Agustín Vargas has invited residents and visitors to enjoy the event, which this year includes new activities and a programme designed for all ages.

Over the three days, Calle Mar will have special decoration and lighting, creating an evening atmosphere in keeping with the theme of the event. In addition, from Friday 28 to Sunday 30, from 19:00, a Craft Market will be set up alongside the various scheduled activities.

Music to open the first night

The programme will begin on Friday 28 August at 21:00 with a Gipsy Kings tribute, a musical act that will bring a festive feel to the first night.

From 23:30, DJ Violetta Arizza will take over, extending the night with a music session until the early hours.

Flamenco takes centre stage on Saturday

Saturday 29 will bring a programme closely linked to local traditions and culture. From 21:00 there will be a tasting of Manilva wine, an opportunity to showcase one of the municipality’s most representative products.

The night will also feature flamenco with the II Concurso de Fandangos “Villa de Manilva” (2nd Fandango Competition), which will bring together a range of participants around one of the most traditional styles of flamenco singing.

The music will continue afterwards with a performance by Los Supercocos, who will bring the evening to a festive close.

Three days to enjoy Manilva

The Noche de Embrujo is presented as an event that seeks to combine tradition, culture, music and leisure in the heart of Manilva’s town centre, making the most of the setting of Calle Mar and the summer nights.

With three days of activities, a craft market, live music, flamenco and events related to gastronomy and local wine, the Town Hall encourages residents and visitors to come to Manilva and enjoy one of the highlights of the summer programme.

The Noche de Embrujo will take place on 28, 29 and 30 August on Calle Mar in Manilva, with activities from 19:00.
