Organised by the Sports department, headed by Manolo Gil, and the Club Ciclista de Manilva, the event also has the collaboration of Civil Protection and numerous associations and companies such as Harman and Nutrisport.
The route covers 47 kilometres, with categories ranging from cadet to master 60. Participation in the women’s categories has increased, with 30 female riders registered this year.
As you know, places sold out in record time, and those registered will receive the rider’s bag, which the club’s own president, Alejandro Granados, describes for us.
As for the prize-giving, there will be trophies for the largest club and for the top three finishers in each category, and a bottle of Manilva wine for the winners (except cadets and juniors).
Awards will also be given to the first three local riders, or riders from CCManilva, to cross the finish line. A special prize for a Strava segment will also be presented.
