Since the Manilva Recycling Centre opened in October 2020 and up to the present date, local residents have made 2,511 recycling deposits at the facility.

These positive figures, provided by the Cleaning department, headed by Paqui López, highlight the importance of these facilities for waste collection.

We remind residents that the opening hours of the Recycling Centre, located in the La Dehesilla industrial estate, are Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 19:00 and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00.
To use it correctly, domestic users (never businesses, whether large or small) must go to the office, where the attendant will receive them to provide information and take their details. Only waste generated by private individuals is accepted, not waste of industrial origin.

In addition to paper, packaging and glass, the centre also collects waste such as batteries, household appliances, mobile phones, electronic and computer equipment, leftover paint, varnishes, etc., cooking and motor oil, fluorescent lamps, light bulbs, halogen tubes, mirrors, aerosols, furniture, kitchen items (such as frying pans, crockery, etc.), mattresses, footwear, bulky items, old toys, wood, garden pruning waste, rubble and scrap metal.

Some of the materials that are not accepted at recycling centres are organic waste, infectious waste, explosive waste or materials, tyres, radioactive waste, and waste derived from industrial activity, regardless of the sector, as well as unidentified or unsorted waste.

For more information, you can call the Recycling Centre on 619 73 64 16.
