The Culture department is holding its fourth «Jueves Musical» (Musical Thursday) in the hope of offering residents plenty of reasons to enjoy a pleasant evening.
Today, Thursday 22 July, from 22:00 in the plaza de la Vendimia, the play «Un metro cuadrado» («One Square Metre») will be performed by the Escuela Municipal (Municipal School). Under the direction of Inés Gandiaga, local actors and actresses will once again show their talent on stage.
No tickets or invitations are needed. Seating will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
The play is a mosaic of scenes and situations that take the lockdown as a starting point to explore the usual themes from a new perspective: human beings shut in their own homes, in their own square metre.
The councillor responsible for the department, Alba Jiménez, highlighted the good turnout and reception these musical Thursdays are receiving, and reminded the public that it is compulsory to continue following the established measures.
