The law of least effort. This appears to be what lay behind the «commission» carried out by Francisco Miguel Álvarez for the launch of the new municipal website by the new technologies department that he himself runs, and which has not even been able to check its legal aspects.
We have been warning since its announcement that this newsroom was unable to see the tender specifications or even a simple outline of the project to be carried out, and that to this day we have not been given any information about the company awarded this work, which came to more than 4,000€ with monthly maintenance of close to 100€.
What may be cause for concern is the supervision of this work, in which we already reported at the time that Manilva was being left without a news archive. The oldest story on this new municipal website is dated 27 May 2019, and the entire history held by the previous website is no longer visible.
The alarm bells are ringing again when, on reviewing the legal conditions of the new website, several months after its publication and with a monthly maintenance cost of close to 100€, it can be seen that the legal conditions of the website of the Town Hall of Guaro have been «copied and pasted». So much so that the address of the Guaro Town Hall has been left in, along with its telephone number and email addresses, which do not match up in the event of a complaint about rights under the privacy policy. We consider this work to be unworthy of what Manilva deserves and of the cost it is incurring for the municipal coffers.

Hola.
Saludos.
