On 12 October the third edition of the Manilva Awards will take place, recognising individuals, organisations and associations for their merits related to the values of solidarity, entrepreneurship and honourable conduct.
The event will be held at the Centro de Interpretación Las Viñas de Manilva.
For the mayor, Mario Jiménez, this is an event that becomes more firmly established in our municipality each year. The mayor also wished to congratulate the award winners at this ceremony, which coincides with the celebration of Hispanic Day.
The Premio Manilva Distinguida (Manilva Distinguished Award) goes to Fina Gómez, in recognition of her professional merits and their international impact. The «Distinguida» category is particularly unique because it highlights the values shown when taking on any activity or discipline related to talent and study that stands out within or beyond our borders.
As for the Premio Manilva Emprende (Manilva Entrepreneurship Award), this goes to Rafael Parra (Rafalux), in recognition of his entrepreneurial work over several decades, during which he has been a point of reference in our town. It also recognises his company as a driver of progress and a booster of the economy, having adapted professionally to the demands of the market over decades.
And the Premio Manilva Solidaria (Manilva Solidarity Award) goes to Saint George, for the work carried out over many years, leading all kinds of social causes that seek to improve the quality of life of our residents.
