This Sunday 29 December, from 12:00, Manilva hosts the 8th San Silvestre Solidaria. Organised by the Sports department in collaboration with the Club Senderista Los Kruos de Manilva, this traditional non-competitive run invites all residents to take part and support a worthy cause.
Run for a good cause!
To take part in this year’s edition, all you need to do is hand in one kilo of non-perishable food. Milk, juices, sugar, tinned goods, flour, oil or baby food are some of the ways to help those most in need. Food can be handed in until tomorrow, Friday, at the Sports office, or on Sunday itself from 10:30 at the door of the Town Hall.
A festive route through the heart of Manilva!
With a 1.6-kilometre route through the streets of Manilva’s town centre, the San Silvestre Solidaria promises to be a morning full of joy and solidarity. The start and finish will be on Calle Mar, next to the Town Hall, and all participants are encouraged to come dressed in Christmas costumes to give the event an even more festive touch.
Support from residents and businesses!
As well as participation from residents, the organisers are calling on local businesses and organisations to join this charitable initiative by donating prizes, which will be drawn among all the participants.
