This Friday 24 May, CEIP San Luis de Sabinillas will host the 1st Colpbol Tournament from 17:00, a sporting event for pupils in the third cycle of Primary Education from schools across the area. The event is open to the public, and those attending can enjoy a bar serving food and drink at affordable prices, run by the AMPA (parents’ association).
The tournament is organised by the school itself, with the collaboration of Manilva Town Hall, through the Education and Sports departments. It also has the support of the AMPA El Oleaje and of numerous local businesses.
Colpbol is an alternative team sport that young people in the area are already familiar with, thanks to the launch of the Liga Intercentros. It is a fun and dynamic sport that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship and inclusion.
The tournament will be held at the CEIP San Luis de Sabinillas facilities from 17:00. The participating teams will compete for one of the three trophies that will be awarded to the top three teams. Pupils from schools in Algeciras, Estepona and Manilva, among others, will attend.
In addition to the trophies, there will also be prizes for the participants, such as tickets for «Kart & Fun» (Estepona), «Aventura Amazonia», «Super Jump» and «Cueva del Tesoro». The winners of the tournament will also gain direct entry to the Colpbol competition at the 24 Horas de Estepona.
This sporting event is a great opportunity for pupils in the third cycle of Primary Education in the area to enjoy a day of sport, companionship and fun.
