The Sports councillor at Manilva Town Hall, Manolo Gil, together with the first deputy mayor, Diego José Jiménez, have handed out to pupils of the various municipal sports schools the kits they receive every year.
This is a commitment by the sports department so that the boys and girls of our town are equipped as befits schools of this kind.
Although it represents a financial effort, it is done gladly, as Gil said, especially when seeing the excited faces of the youngest children.
At the same time, by handing out this clothing, the aim is to present a good image of the town whenever the youngsters travel away to compete, as well as when they play sport in the municipality.
The children’s faces said it all at the presentation of the new kit, and it is a pleasure to see how much the youngsters enjoy playing sport.
