Next Thursday 14 July, the Fiesta de la Luna Llena will be held in our municipality on the beaches of Sabinillas. To reinforce the warnings that the Local Police and the Provincial Fire Service Consortium have been issuing in recent years about the danger of releasing any device that could start a fire, the mayor, Mario Jimenez, has announced a municipal decree under which the sale, distribution and release of balloons, as well as any device that contains fire or could cause it, is completely prohibited during the celebration.
In addition, this year there is also the environmental damage and impact caused by the huge number of balloons released on this night.
