As already announced by Daniel Muñoz, councillor for Fiestas, with a sense of responsibility and fully aware that health is the priority in these times, he wishes to remind residents of the measures adopted for San Juan Night.
Aimed at families, there will be games for children and a performance by a monologist. There will be no burning of effigies, no fireworks and no music.
With close attention to all safety and health requirements, a special operation will be put in place, made up of Guardia Civil officers, Local Police, Civil Protection volunteers, the councillor for Fiestas himself and his work team. In addition, the local company S.O.S Hidro Sport will run the activities for the youngest children, in compliance with all regulations.
In addition, outdoor bars are prohibited and hospitality venues must close at 00:00 (in line with Junta regulations).
No chairs will be provided for the audience at the monologist’s performance, so each person, family or group should bring their own towels, beach chairs, etc., keeping a safe distance between groups.
Face masks are compulsory, and holding botellones (street drinking gatherings) or any kind of private party or activity on the beach and in communal areas is strictly prohibited.
The Fiestas department urges everyone to comply with these rules and recommendations and appeals to the individual responsibility of each person.
