This morning a road safety education day, delivered by members of the Manilva Local Police, took place at Colegio Maicandil.
Throughout the morning, the pupils received this type of training so that, from a very early age, they are aware of how they should behave on the road.
This initiative, which comes from the local police force, has been very well received by those in charge of the school, who did not hesitate to put it into practice.
This morning the school playground was turned into a mini city, with pedestrians, scooters and bicycles, as well as young police officers who took charge of directing the traffic, all under the watchful eye of the local officers.
These activities give the youngest children in the municipality basic notions on how to walk on the road to avoid any kind of accident, as well as how to use the different vehicles they will soon start to use.
