The public works councillor at Manilva Town Hall, Diego José Jiménez, has visited the work currently under way on calle Cristóbal Morales. It is the road linking Puerto de la Duquesa and El Castillo.
The project involves remodelling all of the existing pavement, renewing the kerbstones and surfacing, and replacing the manhole covers. This time, porcelain stoneware paving with a non-slip surface finish is being used for the pavement.
These works improve an area that had deteriorated badly over time, and even had manholes in poor condition, which posed a danger to the normal movement of pedestrians.
