Registration is now open for the XI Corruco Race. The Sports department of Manilva Town Hall has announced the news, adding that this hugely popular sporting event will take place on 19 August.
The councillor for this area, Manolo Gil, encourages athletes to take part in this traditional popular race, which has become a major attraction for both residents and people spending their holidays in Manilva.
As usual, the route will cover a distance of 6 kilometres, starting from the La Noria area and finishing at the Castillo, along the coast and passing the La Colonia Infantil or the Puerto de La Duquesa.
According to the organisers, this year’s edition will admit a maximum of 550 runners for the 400 and 800 metre races, aimed at children, and the main 6 kilometre route, from cadets to veterans.
