Following the improvement works carried out by the Parks and Gardens department, local residents can now enjoy one of the most attractive leisure spaces in our municipality, the Villa Matilde park.
According to the head of this department, Francisco Becerra, the children’s play area has been remodelled and has a new surface that meets all current regulations, as do the newly installed play features themselves.
In addition, new benches made of recycled plastic have been installed, along with a pergola, and the rest of the grounds look excellent.
Alongside Francisco Becerra, councillors Marcos Ruiz, Manolo Gil and Daniel Muñoz also saw for themselves the magnificent condition of Villa Matilde.
As well as encouraging residents to enjoy these facilities, Becerra announced that the next works will take place in the Vendimia park.
