Second-year Bachillerato students from the Instituto de Enseñanza Secundaria ‘Las Viñas’ visited the Ciudad Deportiva de Sabinillas for a day getting to know and trying out the facilities. The councillors for Education and Sport, Daniel Muñoz and Manolo Gil, attended the event.

The young people had the chance to take part in various exercises with the Edufy instructors themselves, in what was a very positive experience for them, as pointed out by Manolo Jerez, a teacher at the school.

José María Parada, a teacher at Edufy, explained that the visit to the school was intended to make pupils aware of the educational options available to them in the future and, for this reason, they were invited to see first-hand the training that can be carried out at the sports facilities in Sabinillas.

For the Education councillor, Daniel Muñoz, it is a positive experience given that these pupils are already deciding on their professional future and this is a way of making them aware of their options.

Along the same lines, the head of the Sport department, Manolo Gil, stressed the importance of getting young people involved in physical exercise while, at the same time, giving them other options for continuing their education.

It was an interesting initiative, experienced and enjoyed by the second-year Bachillerato students from IES Las Viñas, who were able to take part in various sporting activities accompanied by the Edufy instructors.
