A new meeting of the Urban Planning Management Board was held online, at which a number of items of great interest were discussed.
In addition to the board’s routine business, the councillor responsible for the Urban Planning department, Marcos Ruiz, explained that the fourth session of the year had resulted in the approval of ten major building licences, as well as the legalisation of homes in the old town of Manilva.
As Ruiz highlighted, the main item concerned the project for the access road to the Polígono Industrial la Dehesilla.
Today an important step has been taken towards this much-needed work. Despite the complications arising from the inter-municipal special plan (Manilva and Casares) required because of its location, the favourable viability and environmental reports have now been obtained.
As a result, the unified environmental authorisation for the project for the entrance to the Polígono industrial La Dehesilla has now been requested from the Junta de Andalucía.
The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, stressed the importance of providing this infrastructure with a new entrance, as it is essential for the local residents who have their businesses there.
Thanks to these important steps, this project could become a reality in the medium term.
