The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, and the councillors for Urban Planning, Marcos Ruiz, for Infrastructure and Works, Diego José Jiménez, and for Institutional Relations, Francisco Miguel Álvarez, have held an important meeting with technical staff from the Diputación de Málaga.
Accompanied by municipal technical staff, the municipal representatives discussed the Sabinillas seafront promenade project and the entrance to the «La Dehesilla» industrial estate.
As for the promenade, the coordination meeting between administrations aims to obtain the relevant authorisations from the regional Department of the Environment and Coasts.
From here, the next step will be to receive the concession so that the tendering process for the works can then begin.
Also important, the entrance to the industrial estate has a project drawn up by Diputación technical staff. This document will be the basis for settling all the details with Casares Town Hall and the roads authority and responding to the required environmental study.
The Government Team has put a great deal of effort into both matters and hopes that the next steps will be swift and can be tackled as soon as possible.
